ZOMBIES/BLOOD - "Tooth and Nail" brings the pain. Review by Bowie Ibarra

If you are in the market for a quality zombie novel, look no further.  "Tooth and Nail" by Craig DiLouie delivers on a scale and quality that makes it one of the best storeis out there.  Not since "Day by Day Armageddon" have I read a book with such an authentic military voice.

The story follows a group of soldiers brought back to the US from overseas to New York to protect the city from the bizarre plague infecting the world.  But it turns into a rescue mission when they find that a scientist in the city might have found a cure.

It all builds up to an amazing finish that reminded me of the epic battles of ancient Romans fighting the barbarian hordes, ala 300.  It's an epic finish that will blow you away.

"28 Days Later" style monsters, US soldiers with human failings, a great through-line, and the true determination of the fighting man, "Tooth and Nail" needs to be added to your zombie library today.
